The restoration of this 17th century cellar in the Abbey at High Wycombe was carried out in 1998. Cellar.bmp (230454 bytes) Particular attention should be taken of the intricacy of the brick work which is restored to it's original look.

Four Bedroom House: The accommodation consisted of entrance hall, ground floor cloakroom, lounge with working fireplace, separate dinning room, fitted kitchen with utility room, office. Master bedroom with en-suite, family bathroom and garage.Well before construction begun discussions were held with the client and the archutical department to determine the design of the property so that the clients requirements could be fully incorporated in to the final plan and design. During construction particular attention was paid to the quality of materials used and the high specifications as laid down by the client. Some of the main features of the house are the granite worktops in the kitchen, a magnificent stone fireplace in the lounge, the ground floor is polished wooden blocks and the whole property had cavity wall insulation.

The brick work on this wall in High Wycombe was carried out by David J Hester Builders as sub-contractors to the Main contractor to Wycombe District Council and was completed in 1995.
